PUT DOWN THE DAY TOOLKIT

You closed the laptop. Your nervous system didn't get the memo.

Ten short practices - EFT tapping, body-based work, and guided visualization - for closing out work, letting go of what's still running, and actually resting. A choose-your-own-adventure menu so you can pick what tonight needs.

Instant digital access

It's done. Or as done as it's going to get tonight.

The laptop's closed. The last email is sent, or it isn't, and either way you've stopped. And you're still going.

You're loading the dishwasher and drafting a reply in your head. You're half-watching something and replaying a conversation from this afternoon — the one where you said something that landed wrong, or didn't say the thing you should have. You finally get into bed, and that's when your brain decides it's ready to talk.

Your body has been in "on" mode since before you got out of bed, and closing a laptop doesn't tell it the day is over. Something else has to.

That's what the Set Down Your Day Toolkit is designed to do.

WHY THIS ISN'T A WILLPOWER PROBLEM

It's not "you need a better evening routine."

It's a nervous system that's been bracing, scanning, and holding all day, and doesn't know how to stand down just because the to-do list says it can. That's not a flaw. It's what kept things running. But it's also why "just relax" has never once worked.

EFT — Emotional Freedom Techniques, sometimes called tapping — works directly with that. It's a way of telling your body, directly, that it's safe to stop, which is the thing it's actually been waiting for.

WHY A TOOLKIT

Different nights need different things.

Most things made for "winding down" hand you one practice and hope it fits whatever's going on for you that night. A meditation for sleep. A breathing exercise. A journal prompt.

Some nights, that's exactly right. Other nights, what you actually need is to stop replaying a conversation, or to get tomorrow out of your head so it'll stop running tonight, or to remember three things that went well in a day that didn't feel like it had any.

This is ten of those — built for the actual range of what "I can't put this day down" feels like, organized so you can find the one that matches tonight in under a minute.

WHAT'S INSIDE

Ten practices. Three categories.

Pick what tonight needs

CLOSE OUT WORK TIME

For when work ends:

Permission to Put It Down (5-minute tapping + worksheet)

Start here if some part of you doesn't feel allowed to be done yet. The worksheet helps you name what feels unsafe about stopping; the tapping helps your body believe it's okay to stop anyway.

Review Wins & Make Your Done List

A short practice for closing out what you actually got through today — instead of the running tally your brain keeps of everything that's still outstanding.

Plan Tomorrow

Get tomorrow's logistics out of your head and onto paper: what matters, what's handled, what can wait. (The thinking-it-through part comes next — this is just the list.)

Mental ROC Drill (Rehearsal of Concept)

Adapted from military mission planning: choose how you want to think, feel, and act tomorrow, then walk through your day being that person — before you ever have to live it.

Still on Loop Process

For the moment that's still playing on repeat: conversations that went wrong, mistakes you regret making, worries about how someone's going to react to a decision you made, etc. A guided process for finding what's actually underneath it, so it can land instead of looping.

WIND DOWN

For when you're transitioning into relax mode:

The Mirror Exercise

A deceptively powerful process to help you crowd out the thoughts you don't want with ones that serve you.

Moment of Grounding Presence

A short grounding practice for arriving back in the room you're actually in, instead of the one in your head.

The Embodied Scan

A body and environment scan that tells your nervous system, directly, that it's safe to stand down.

*If you got "Why Your Business Feels So Heavy," you'll remember this one.

Release & Rise (guided tapping meditation)

For setting down what you've been carrying — the expectations, the stress, the weight of the day — so there's room to rise into who you're becoming, instead of just collapsing into tomorrow.

SLEEP TIME

For when your head hits the pillow, but your brain won't turn off:

Tap Into Better Sleep

Tapping practices built for when you're anxious about an important event, managing chronic stress, experiencing night sweats, or can't stop before-bed scrolling.

"Jewell is an amazing coach and human being"

"Jewell is an amazing coach and human being. She really knows how to listen beyond words and she is very intuitive. Also, she is creative in using exercises during the session that help you relax and see your situation from a different perspective, and in sharing ideas and strategies that might help you regarding your current situation.

She is really good in connecting the information you have shared with her previously, to help you have powerful insights.

Finally, not only does she partner with you to confront your vulnerabilities and move forward, but she also celebrates your accomplishments and qualities/strengths and encourages you to keep going."

How to tell if this is the right fit:

This is for you if -

Most days end with your body still in "go" mode well after the work does. You're replaying things, scrolling later than you meant to, or lying in bed with your brain still drafting tomorrow's emails.

This isn't for you if -

You're navigating an active mental health crisis, or carrying something that needs more support than a digital toolkit can hold. These practices are built for everyday overwhelm — the replaying, the can't-power-down, the wired-but-tired. If what you're carrying is heavier than that, please get the support you need first. These will still be here when you're ready.

Note: EFT is a stress-relief tool, not a medical treatment — it can complement medical or mental health care, but it isn't a substitute for it.

Questions:

Is tapping some weird gimmick?

No. The method I used is clinically-proven in hundreds of scientific studies, many of them randomized controlled trials.

I understand why you're asking. When I first learned about tapping, I said, "You want me to hit myself in the face until I feel better?" But the way it works is that it creates a sense of safety in the body, which allows you to access layers that most surface-level techniques can't reach.

Several practices in this this toolkit (Still on Loop Process, especially) are designed to reach these deeper layers. And all of them are created to help you feel more relaxed so you can recharge and have more time and energy for the things that are important to you.

I don't have time for a whole evening routine. Is this going to take a long time?

No.

Because you're not adding a routine.

Most of these processes take five to ten minutes, and the entire point of the menu is that you do one thing, not eleven. Some nights, even just Permission to Put It Down is enough.

I don't know anything about tapping or this kind of work. Am I going to be lost?

That's ok - you don't need to. Every practice is guided start to finish.

14 Day Guarantee

Try it for 14 days. If you decide it's not useful to you, email me letting me know what's going on, and I'll send you a refund.

After just one tapping session with her, I felt calmer, more focused and more relaxed.

At the time, I was having big issues with procrastination. It had been days since I had felt productive.
